Harry Child
Harry recently recorded a radio play with Bill Nighy. It's going to be broadcast on Radio 4 on Thursday 17th July at 2.15 p.m. and is called 'I wish to Apologise for my part in the Apocalypse' by Duncan MacMillan. You can 'Listen Again' for 7 days after the broadcast by visiting the Radio 4 website: www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/
Harry is enjoying all the broadcasting work which Young 'Uns Agency is putting his way at the moment. He has made recordings for numerous BBC Schools programmes and English language tapes and taken part in TV advertisements for McCain Homefries, EDF Energy, Aquafresh and Morrisons supermarkets. He recently took part in a product launch for Toyota at the London Excel Centre.
His 8 month run at the London Palladium as Kurt in 'The Sound of Music' was successfully completed in February 2008 and would love to perform again in the West End - he has his eye on the forthcoming production of 'Oliver' at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
He has been shortlisted for a part in 'Escape from Scorpion Island' - an action and adventure programme which the BBC is due to broadcast in the Autumn, to be filmed during the summer. He is hoping to demonstrate the spirit of 'You can if you think you can' by completing various bold challenges against the clock in a tropical location.
